After discovering Jim Hopper was still alive, Murray and Joyce take a flight to Alaska, where they are supposed to fly to Kamchatka with the help of a smuggler and rescue Hopper. Since this essential trip is shot both inside and outside the aircraft, the airframe and all props related to the aircraft like magazines and safety instructions needed to be design.
